A 38-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with high range drink driving after allegedly being caught more than four times the legal limit with a passenger in her car.
Southern Watch Commander Steve Pfitzner said police in Alice Springs observed a vehicle swerving on Gap Rd at about 1.45am on Wednesday.
“The car was intercepted and it was a 38-year-old female Alice Springs resident who was driving with a male passenger in the car,” he said.
“She was notably intoxicated and returned a breath alcohol content of 0.215 per cent — more than four times the legal limit. She was also unlicensed.
