NT Police are calling for witnesses into the death of a woman found unconscious outside a business in Katherine.
Police said the woman was found about 8.50am on Friday, August 5.
She was found unconscious and unresponsive outside a business on the corner of Giles St and First St.
She was taken to Katherine Hospital and died the following day.
Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch has since begun an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the woman’s death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Lawson said police were tracing the woman’s movements between Thursday midnight and 9am Friday.
“Police are seeking to identify the woman’s movements prior to being located by staff of a nearby business,” he said.
