Police officer handed with notice to appear over alleged assault
An NT Police officer will front court later this year after being handed a notice to appear.

A NORTHERN Territory Police officer is under investigation for alleged assault and will face court.
In an NT Police statement on Tuesday, the 55-year-old woman was served a notice to appear for assault in Darwin Local Court on September 20.
Investigations are continuing by Crime Command.
“As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided,” the statement said.
