Police have charged a woman with domestic violence offences after she allegedly assaulted a man in a Malak shopping centre carpark earlier this week.

POLICE have charged a woman with domestic violence offences after she allegedly assaulted a man in a Malak shopping centre carpark on Wednesday afternoon.
Police allege the 42-year-old woman assaulted the 44-year-old man at about 5.30pm, which left the man with serious injuries.
The woman has now been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm, recklessly endangering life and possessing a controlled weapon.
She was remanded in custody to face the Darwin Local Court on Friday.
Police continue to call for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
