NT Police appeal for information about Rhys McLean in relation to alleged hit and run

Serious crime investigators are searching for a 28-year-old man who may hold the answers to a mystery surrounding an alleged hit and run.

Investigators are continuing to seek answers after a woman was rammed by a four-wheel-drive at a Top End petrol pump.

NT Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate 28-year-old Rhys McLean, who is believed to have information about an alleged attack at a Jingili service station.

Police said a woman was left with non-life threatening injuries after allegedly being run down by a green Pajero at a McMillians Rd service station at 7.25pm, September 29.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Malogorski alleged the car was driven at a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman.

Sergeant Malogorski said the woman was hit by the car before it ran into an ice machine.

It was alleged the driver took off from the scene.

NT Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Rhys McLean ,28, who is believed to have information about an alleged attack at a Jingili service station on September 29.

At the time, Serious Crime detectives alleged the driver knew their alleged victims.

Police have made a second appeal for information a month after the alleged hit and run.

Police said it was believed Mr McLean had information that could assist with the alleged hit-and-run investigation.
