NRL NT player, bouncer Adam Hall fronts court for alleged bashing

A Territory rugby league player and security guard will contest allegations he bashed two patrons at a popular Palmerston bar.

A Territory rugby league player turned bouncer will fight allegations he bashed two patrons on the same night at a Palmerston bar.

Adam Hall appeared in the Darwin Local Court for the first time on Wednesday after being charged with recklessly endangering causing serious harm and failing to rescue or provide help.

The Neptune NT employee is alleged to have grabbed a patron around the throat at the Landmark@Gateway on February 17.

A video that circulated online after the incident shows the patron yelling at Hall before the bouncer allegedly grabbed him and pushed him back into a wall.

A second video on the same night depicted Hall allegedly push a different customer to the ground in the carpark before dragging him along the ground.

Hall appeared before Judge Ben O’Loughlin on Wednesday for a first mention with the case adjourned until April 4 for a directions hearing.

Hall is a decorated member of the NRL NT community having played for Palmerston Raiders, Litchfield Bears, Nightcliff Dragons and most recently Northern Sharks.

He was part of the minor premiership team at both Nightcliff and Sharks, while being awarded the Bears’ best forward of the 2020 season.

He was also selected in the NT Titans side in 2018 and 2022.
