AN ALLEGED gang member will remain behind bars after beinga accused of having a role in the “cowardly” and violent killing of a Palmerston dog

Brandt Graham was arrested by NT Police Gangs Task Force over allegations he and six others broke into a Driver home, caused damage, killed one dog and seriously injured another on Sunday.

Police will allege that Graham was part of a group who broke into the home at 6.20pm.

“A pet dog has been violently killed and another seriously injured in a cowardly and organised attack,” Commander Matthew Hollamby said earlier. “This is horrible behaviour.”

Police allege Graham, his co-accused and their victim knew each other.

Police have also arrested a 40-year-old man and warned the public to not approach Patrick Mullhall, 35, in relation to the same incident.

Cmd Hollamby said more arrests would come, saying “they will be held to account”.

“NT Police has zero tolerance for gang-related activity,” he said.

The 39-year-old was refused bail and remanded in custody after appearing before Judge Elisabeth Armitage in Darwin Local Court on Wednesday. He will return to court on April 27 for a preliminary examination mention.
