Australian Jordan Curry, who worked with conspirators to keep drug prices high and bring cocaine and meth to Sydney and Melbourne, has pleaded guilty after being caught in a global sting.

An Australian bikie is facing life in jail in the United States after being caught moving Colombian cocaine and more than $1 million in cash.
Jordan Curry, 42, will be sentenced in Florida in October after he was picked up in an undercover sting.
The Lone Wolf enforcer was allegedly a major player in Australia’s drug trade.
He was part of The Commission, a coalition of criminals who set floor prices of cocaine in Australia to maintain their lucrative profit margins.
The Drug Enforcement Administration said Curry pleaded guilty to participating in a “conspiracy to launder money and import cocaine from South America through the United States to Australia.”
“According to the agreed upon factual proffer, from 2019 to 2021, Curry led an international drug trafficking and money laundering organisation,” the DEA said.
“While based in Dubai, Curry partnered with other conspirators, to launder drug proceeds and traffic in ton-size quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine from South America and Mexico, to Australia and Europe.
“Further, Curry, his co-defendant, and other conspirators in Australia formed a commission of high-level drug traffickers to keep drug prices up.”
Curry had claimed he had “full control” of Australia’s drug market but sources claim that was related to his skills in logistics, rather than setting prices.
The Commission had been sending messages in recent years to major drug dealers in Australia to drip feed the supply of cocaine to keep prices at least $200,000 a kilogram wholesale.
The group threatened to steal drugs from anyone trying to sell cocaine for lower prices, or launch an all-out “war” if their requests were not met.
Underworld sources said Curry grew up on the Gold Coast but had moved to Dubai, which has become a haven for Australian criminals hiding from the law.
He had been acting as the man on the ground for a coalition of Australian crime figures who were moving tons of cocaine on the streets of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
But police had been putting pressure on bikies based in Dubai and Curry had taken a trip to Greece where he was arrested in 2021.
He was then extradited to the United States where he faced a Florida court last month to enter a guilty plea.
He was charged with money laundering of $1 million and a plot to bring 50kg of Colombian cocaine through Mexico, Los Angeles and ultimately to Australia.
Curry had set up a group chat with his money courier in Australia who was to deliver the cash.
The group chat included photographs of three duffel bags full of cash tied up in rubber bands and wrapped in cellophane, which totalled almost $3 million.
Curry ordered “powder please (in) bricks” in the messages.
Other messages, sent in July 2019, revealed how Curry had paid out almost two million Colombian pesos to drug wholesalers in Bogota, the nation’s capital.

The money was moved in six separate payments with Curry telling a drug wholesaler he wanted to sort the cash quickly so he could “get my job over the line”.
The sting was controlled by the DEA’s office in Florida, but with help from its US based agents in Sydney.
New South Wales, Queensland, WA and Australian Federal Police were part of the effort to catch Curry, along with Greek authorities.
