North Melbourne utility Nicole Bresnehan has been recalled for its must-win match against the Dockers as the Kangaroos seek to play finals in their debut season.

The winner of Saturday’s Kangaroos v Dockers clash in Fremantle will seize one of the two finals spots in Conference A.

Fremantle will welcome the return of talented forward Kellie Gibson.

Aasta O’Connor and Sophie Van De Heuvel return for the Cats, with a win against the Giants to secure Geelong a finals berth from Conference B.

A win for Conference B counterpart Carlton against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday will shore up finals for Blues.

If either the Cats or Blues lose, or both, it brings the Lions and percentage into calculations.

Adelaide’s finals hopes have been bolstered by the return of vice-captain Courtney Cramey for Saturday’s crunch game against Melbourne on Saturday.

The Crows are in the box seat to make the AFLW preliminary final with a win over the Demons securing them a berth. Adelaide can also qualify if it draws or loses by a small margin.

Melbourne, who have recalled forward Ainslie Kemp, need to win by at least 25 points in a low scoring affair, or 26 points if the Crows score a goal a quarter, and hope the Kangas and Fremantle do not draw to progress to its first finals campaign.

If Fremantle and North Melbourne play a draw and Melbourne beats the Crows, both the Dockers and Kangaroos will go through.
