BLAKE Griffin clearly still holds some resentment towards Ben Simmons after the Aussie superstar dated his ex-girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, following their split in May.

The Victoria’s Secret supermodel and Griffin called it quits after the forward was traded from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Detroit Pistons.

When images emerged of Simmons and Jenner getting close, Griffin was reportedly heartbroken and those feelings re-emerged on Sunday.

The Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers squared off in the early game on Sunday morning and all eyes were locked in on the enticing battle between the two stars.

While it was the 76ers who won the war with the 109-99 win, it was Griffin who won the battle between the duo.

Simmons failed to fire in the contest as he ended with nine points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Griffin however erupted as he led the way for his side with a monster line of 38 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.

But it was the constant attack from Griffin to go after Simmons and bully him in the post that stole the limelight and showed he was out for revenge over the Aussie star.

The match-ups between the 76ers and Pistons are quickly becoming must watch television with the Griffin/Simmons feud now adding to the incredible showdowns.

Griffin may have outplayed Simmons, but the Aussie had the last laugh as he walked away with the points and Philly’s sixth win on the season.

All-Star big man Joel Embiid was at his dominant best in the game and took his own personal beef with Andre Drummond to the next level.

In their second meeting of the season so far, it was Embiid who once again got the better of Dummond and he was quick to let him know all about it.

Embiid opened the contest with the teams first seven points and scored a career-high 32 points in the first half as the 76ers ran away with the game.

He ended the game with 39 points and 17 rebounds, making it 72 points and 28 rebounds in total across his two games opposed to Drummond so far.

Notorious for his trash talk both on and off the court, Embiid dug in even further and ensured the next clash will have every set of eyeballs locked in.
