Star’s thong bikini photo caption leaves fans cackling

A star’s brutally honest Instagram caption has fans chortling after a risque bikini photo shoot that got a bit too cheeky for some.

Paige VanZant: 'I take my role as the hottest woman in the world very seriously'

Paige VanZant certainly knows how to ignite a fire on Instagram.

This week, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star — who recently made an All Elite Wrestling appearance — shared a collection of sultry photos with her 2.9 million followers after wrestling earlier in the day.

“Wrestled today, didn’t take a picture. Here’s some pics of me looking like a h** instead. Yolo,” VanZant captioned the images, which feature the 27-year-old athlete modelling a thong bikini.

Unsurprisingly, a slew of “fire” emojis immediately filled the comments section of VanZant’s post.

“You are effing fire,” one commenter wrote while another gushed, “Perfection, absolute perfection!!!”

VanZant’s caption was attracting plenty of interest as well with many fans having a laugh at the cheeky words, The New York Post reported.

American UFC star Gina Mazany wrote in the comments: “Lol, this is the best”.

American pop artist BC Jean also wrote: “This caption tho”.

VanZant became an Instagram favourite during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when she and her husband, MMA fighter Austin Vanderford, would chronicle their naked escapades around the house. In a January 2021 interview with “Morning Kombat,” VanZant revealed the unexpected social media saga “wasn’t a planned thing at all.”

“It was quarantine, we stayed home for two weeks straight, it was kind of when this all first started,” she said at the time. “And we’re like, ‘All right, we’re not leaving out house,’ and, as husbands and wives do, we’re just naked and walking around our house, doing our thing.”

VanZant has lost her first two Bare Knuckle fights — to Britain Hart and former UFC rival Rachel Ostovich — and has hinted at interest in an MMA return in Bellator.

Although most fans can catch a glimpse of VanZant and Vanderford getting cozy on Instagram, the former UFC fighter now has another home for her exclusive content, PaigeFanZant.com, which she launched in February.

VanZant’s Instagram page also serves as a treasure trove of live-action videos and poolside pics.

The 27-year-old regularly posts saucy pictures of herself on social media but draws the line at adult content.

VanZant lost four of her last six fights in the UFC and signed with BKFC after her final fight against Amanda Ribas at UFC 251 in July 2020.

By then VanZant was modelling, had more than 2.9 million Instagram followers and had appeared on reality TV shows including Dancing with the Stars.

Her four-fight deal is worth a reported $1m, but money doesn’t solve everything as VanZant revealed how much the loss to Ostovich hurt.

In her video blog series she shares with husband and fellow MMA fighter Austin Vanderford, VanZant broke down in tears talking about the aftermath of the loss.

VanZant said she felt like her online presence gave people a false idea of her life and because of that “everyone expects me to lose and everyone expects me to fail”.

“I just feel like people have this specific perception of who I am and especially online. It’s crazy how much people can hate on a single person. I just don’t get it,” she said.

“I pride myself of being a good person. I think that’s the most important thing for me. I never talk bad about my opponents. I never say a single negative thing about their character. You never know what somebody’s going through. You never know what someone’s on the verge of.”
