Not one, not two but three Campbells will don the Darwin Salties jersey this season, with the trio over the moon to play under the same roof.

The Campbells have taken sibling rivalry to new heights.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, the siblings have found their new home 3456km away in the nation’s Top End capital.

Darwin Salties general manager Matt Nason said the trio would be a great asset to the club and culture.

“Toby (26), Zoe (24), and Maddy (21) epitomise the spirit and calibre of players we want on our team,” he said.

“Their arrival marks an exciting moment for the Tamboran Darwin Salties and we are thrilled to have them on board.”

Having spent time with the Northside Wizards and USC Rip City previously in the NBL1 North competition, Toby has a wealth of experience and at 205cm tall, will be a handy power forward under the tutelage of coach Matt Flinn.

As for the sisters, Zoe and Maddy will play in the centre and guard positions respectively and share a unique understanding forged in the back yard after years of sibling rivalry.

“The dedication Zoe and Maddy have to the game and their talent makes them valuable assets,” women’s coach Rodd Tremlett said.

“I am confident that under our guidance, they will continue to flourish and contribute significantly to our success on the court.”

Excited to be playing under the same roof and representing the same team, the siblings are grateful for the unique opportunity and won’t let the occasion best them.

“It’s a privilege to be part of the same team as my siblings,” Toby said.

“This opportunity with the Salties means the world to us, and we are eager to get out there and contribute.”

“We are beyond excited to be in Darwin and be part of the amazing Salties culture we have heard so much about,” Maddy said.

“We are continuing to live our basketball dream, and we can’t wait to make our mark here.”

“Being able to share this experience with my big brother and little sister in Darwin is something truly special,” Zoe said.

“We’ve always pushed each other to be the best players we can be, and now we get to do it with this great club in this great city.”
