Geelong premiership captain Cameron Ling has switched teams on the radio dial, departing 3AW for the ABC.
Ling will feature on Friday nights and Sundays for the national broadcaster who is shaking up its AFL coverage this season.

Slashing costs was the directive of the new regime and after seven years with the station Ling was let go because of "budgetary constraints".
His Channel 7 commentary teammate Matthew Richardson has avoided a similar fate, verballing agreeing to a new deal at 3AW.
Ling will continue to juggle his TV commitments with his new radio gig which will also include being a part of a remodelled Saturday pre-game show alongside chief caller Alister Nicholson.
This is a move back to pure footy after comedian Anthony `Lehmo' Lehmann was the face of ABC Grandstand for the past two years.
Lehmo hosted the pre-game shows on Saturday and Sunday alongside Angela Pippos and Emma Race.
Other changes include Hawthorn premiership star Brad Sewell departing the expert comments chair because he's relocating to Byron Bay.
There is also more movement at 3AW with Caroline Wilson stepping away from the nightly Sports Today program where she has been a regular because of her expanding role on Nine's Footy Classified show.

MINOR ERROR
It’s called the bible for a reason.
The AFL Season Guide is the go-to reference point for anything to do with football.
Every stat imaginable on the history of the game is there and all you need to know about the current listed players.
As you can imagine 1232-page production would require numerous proof readers to cast their eye over it.
But sometimes a mistake can slip through to the keeper as it has with new North Melbourne CEO Ben Amarfio.
On the Roos page where all the club's staff are listed the new boss comes in as 'Ben Armafio'.
At least his next mention 10 pages on alongside a short bio delivers the correct spelling.
THE WHISPER
We hear recently retired Tiger Alex Rance has been doing some door knocking as part of his faith and one current AFL player got the shock of his life when he opened his front door to find the game's best defender with bible in hand?
