ST Mary’s ruck man Braxton Ah Mat is unlikely to play any further part in the 2020-21 competition as he faces multiple striking charges following his side’s minor semi-final win over Waratah.

Ah Mat has been charged with striking opposition ruck man Zach Westerberg as well as Dylan Collis, with both incidents occurring in the second quarter of the match on March 6.

Both incidents were classified as intentional conduct with low impact and high contact resulting in a combined four match ban, reduced to three with an early guilty plea.

Saints went on to win 14.9 (93) to 10.7 (67) over Tahs setting themselves up for a prelim final match against Wanderers and a potential grand final though Ah Mat is unlikely to play either.

Squad mate Jack Landt was also charged in the semi-final for failing to leave the playing surface when directed to do so by an umpire.

Landt has played a crucial role up front for the Green Machine this season but picked up a report for not leaving the field of play while bleeding in the third quarter.

The match review panel deemed the offence as worthy of a one-match penalty down to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.
