ST Mary’s ruck man Braxton Ah Mat is unlikely to play any further part in the 2020-21 competition as he faces multiple striking charges following his side’s minor semi-final win over Waratah.
Ah Mat has been charged with striking opposition ruck man Zach Westerberg as well as Dylan Collis, with both incidents occurring in the second quarter of the match on March 6.
Both incidents were classified as intentional conduct with low impact and high contact resulting in a combined four match ban, reduced to three with an early guilty plea.

Squad mate Jack Landt was also charged in the semi-final for failing to leave the playing surface when directed to do so by an umpire.

The match review panel deemed the offence as worthy of a one-match penalty down to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Also pinged by the match review panel following the minor semi-final is Waratah team manager Ryan Branford who has been charged with misconduct at half time.
The panel classified the incident as misconduct resulting in a one match penalty though Branford can accept a reprimand with an early guilty plea.
