Shane Warne memorial: Robbie Williams will join farewell as extra seats become available

Extra free tickets have been released for the Shane Warne memorial at the MCG as a big international star confirmed their attendance. POST A TRIBUTE.

New tickets are being released for Shane Warne’s memorial, with Robbie Williams joining a host of international stars to farewell the cricketer.

Eddie McGuire said on Tuesday that the stage was now set on the MCG, which allowed organisers to make more seats available.

Williams adds to the star power with Elton John and Ed Sheeran also previously announced to sing at the state memorial.

Surfer Kelly Slater will also send a message, with 50,000 free tickets already given away. Another 15,000 tickets were available.

“Tomorrow night is going to be something spectacular,” McGuire said.

“This is going to be one of the greatest events in the history of this city.”
