Sariah Paki, Madison Ashby girl’s 7s grand final result wrap, Sydney Junior Rugby stars, try scorers,

There were bursts of speed, great skills in wild winds and multiple scorers as the Sariah Paki and Madi Ashby 7s girl’s rugby season came to an end. Stars and result wrap from grand final day.

They were tournaments named after two of our best young sevens players in NSW - and Australia - where the stars of the future are playing now.

The Sariah Paki and Madison Ashby girl’s 7s competitions came to a thrilling conclusion at Boronia Park on Sunday.

And both of the Australian sevens stars were in attendance to meet and greet young players and present the silverware.

Around 500 young girls hit the pitch on a wild and windy day to contest their season finals.

Randwick Magic were a standout club with three titles won.

Sariah Paki Cup 7s under 12s

Liverpool beat Merrylands 15–10

Try’s scorers Kay Russell and Chevelle Maura-Veikoso were two of the standouts for Liverpool.

Mareca Edward Jackson was a star for Merrylands with a try and a conversion in the close encounter

Sariah Paki Cup Sevens under 13s

Linfield dominated this grand final played early on Sunday, winning 39–0 in their match with Randwick Magic.

An inform Jade George scored a hat-trick for Linfield with other scorers Heidi Graham, Holly Kyle, Dimity Loeve and Ruby Azar.

Eloise Lowry made two conversions.

Sariah Paki Cup 7s under 14 North

This was the only draw of grand final day with both Randwick and Newport running out winners

Neither the teams could not be separated, leaving the pitch at 22–22.

It was a great day out for Madi who scored two tries and a conversion for Randwick with other scorers Evie Messiter and Harlow Taylor

Sariah Paki Cup 7s under 14A

The Manly Roos beat Randwick Magic 17–14

Harley Marnock scored two great tries for the Manly Roos with Tiffany Tomlinson also going over and Bo-Kiiarni Paki making a conversion

Cobi Ryan-Last was one of Randwick’s standouts.

Madison Ashby Cup 7s under 15A

Norwest beat Randwick Magic 29-17 in this decider.

No scorers were listed for Norwest but Darci Tuirnui went over twice for Magic.

Madison Ashby Cup 7s under 15B

Lindfield Girls played Wahroonga gold in this grand final battle.

Wahroonga dominated the match from start to finish, running out 29–0 winners at Boronia Park on Sunday.

In a stunning performance Niamh Krenmayr scored three tries and made two conversions to help Wahroonga to the big win.

Scarlett Mitchell and Edwina Harrington also went over for the Tigers.

Madison Ashby Cup 7s under 16A

This match was fought out between Randwick and Lindfield.

In a thriller of a game, Randwick just edged Linfield 19–17 in another great result for the club.

One of the most dominant displays was from captain Sophia Wilson who scored two tries and made two conversions.

Sasha Tuirnui also contributed to the scoreline.

Imogen Crowe and Darcy Prosser-Shaw were two of the try scorers for Lindfield.

Madison Ashby Cup 7s under 16B

In a high scoring game, the Campbelltown Harlequins defeated Oatley 33–17 to win.

Rose Michael was one of the standouts for Campbelltown, scoring two tries.

Teammate Vaitoelau Sousa scored a try and made three conversions in another stand out performance.

Jacqueline Scott and Charlotte Nifo also scored tries for the Harlequins.

The Harlequins actually lost the semi by advanced after Lindfield forfeited for calling uncontested scrums which is not allowed in semi finals.

Madison Ashby Cup 7s under 18s

Randwick Magic finished off a long day with another great performance to win the under 18’s grand final against Norwest

Magic beat their rivals 35–7 in the season decider
