The list of 2024’s Northern Territory Sports Awards finalists can finally be revealed.

Comprised of the NT’s elite coaches, officials, volunteers and clubs who not only excelled but made an impact through their achievements last year will be recognised at the annual awards next month.

With finalists coming from a wide array of different sports across the Territory, only nine will have the honour of receiving the coveted award.

“The Northern Territory Sports Awards recognise the efforts of all players, coaches and volunteers who have excelled and made significant contributions to the NT’s sporting community,” Minister for Sport Kate Worden said.

“The Northern Territory has a proud history of producing athletes that have participated at Olympic Games, the AFL and at the highest levels in many other sports.

“For the athletes who excel and reach the top, they learn and hone the skills that make them great athletes in grass root sporting clubs and organisations across the NT.

“There are also many volunteer coaches and volunteers who put in hours of their time to develop our athletes and create a great atmosphere for everyone who wants to take part.”

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Northern Territory Sports Awards on Saturday 20 April at the Darwin Convention Centre.
