EXCLUSIVE: DISTRICT cricket reigning premier PINT has secured the services of Victorian fast bowler Jayde Herrick for the 2014 Darwin season.
The 29-year-old agreed to terms with the Green Caps yesterday and will fill the vacant opening bowling slot in the Premier Grade side.
Herrick, part of the Melbourne Renegade’s Big Bash franchise, has been dogged with injury during the 2013-14 first class season.
PINT president Anthony Harrison said the Melbourne-born quick was the final piece in the puzzle in assembling a team to defend the crown they won on the last ball of last season’s grand final.
