“There’s been some really strong sessions with the coaching group putting the whole squad through their paces.”

Pioneer stars Shawn Foster and Jackson Cole will be two the TIO crowd will be looking out for as well as well as the lightning fast Kurt Abbott from Rovers.

While more junior players Luke Foster and Thomas Swan will also be looking to grab their chance to impress a larger audience with both hands.

Palmerston Magpies’ Nigel Lockyer Jr is another that could become eligible for the Redtails should he miss out on selection into the NTFL side.

“You should expect tough footy from us, hard at the football and lightning fast on the attack,” Clarke said.

“We don’t know too much about this Katherine side but we know they have some good players from the NTFL available to them so it should be a good game.
