Day five of the 2024 Paris Olympics has come to an end.

Australia added four medals to their overall tally with bronze in the BMX freestyle and trap shooting while Kyle Chalmers claimed a historic silver medal in the 100m freestyle.

It was once again Jessica Fox who stole the show with the Aussie superstar winning gold in the canoe slalom.

Unfortunately it was a rough morning for the Aussies with the Matildas officially being eliminated after losing to the USA while Mollie O’Callaghan and Shayna Jack missed a medal in the 100m freestyle.
