NIGHTCLIFF’S two time Nicholls Medal winner showed ominous form with a stat topping performance in the second week of finals with a haul of 30 disposals.

Brodie Filo has often been at the pointy end of the stats in the 2020-21 season and the semi-finals were no exception as he managed 20 kicks and 10 handballs while also managing 11 inside-50s and six clearances.

The showing from the Tiger centrepiece helped see his side to a 75-point win over Wanderers and sends a worrying message to whoever may face the minor premiers in the grand final.

Another typical strong display saw St Mary’s import Dylan Landt pick up 27 disposals (25 kicks and two handballs) in a performance that kept his side’s premiership dream alive.

Squad mate Nate Paredes also featured highly in the stats for the second week of finals with 27 disposals including 25 kicks and three handballs as the Green Machine beat Waratah.

The Saints duo are carrying some fine form of their own and will be needed to perform once again when the side take on Wanderers in the preliminary final.

Never one not to feature in the stats Shaun Mannagh managed 25 disposals comprising of 20 kicks and seven handballs while also making eight clearances.

And also listing highly despite his side’s loss to Nightcliff was Eagles’ Dane McFarlane who took 24 disposals including 17 kicks and seven handballs.
