THE first week of the NTFL finals threw up plenty of surprises and the NT News can exclusively reveal all the individual and team stats from the weekend.

First up Waratah used their big bodies and midfield supply train to survive their elimination final and knock the Darwin Buffaloes out of the finals race.

Later on Wanderers proved that a week is a long time in NTFL footy turning the tables on St Mary’s with some key personnel back in the side.

ST MARY’S VS WANDERERS

Saints and Tahs will face-off this Saturday from 4.15pm in the minor semi-final where the losing side will be eliminated from the competition.

The Green Machine has had the better of the match-up this season but finals are a different ball game.

Then from 6.45pm is the major semi-final which will see the minor premiers Nightcliff Tigers return to action against a resurgent Wanderers.

Women’s Premier League finals action will see St Mary’s face Nightcliff in the minor semi-final from 12.15pm on Saturday.
