The future is right now! We’ve re-ranked Australia’s top 50 rugby league schoolboys following the weekend national titles – and there are some big movers.

The best schoolboy rugby league players in Australia descended on Redcliffe this weekend for the ASSRL National Championships.
The list of talent included the sons of NRL legends, future top level talents and emerging Origin stars.
Prior to the championships, we ranked the top 50 players here.
But with the titles now run and won, we’ve revisited the rankings and made significant changes.

In the biggest talking points:
• There is an all new No. 1 with Rockhampton-based and Cowboys-contracted Matua Brown taking top spot following brilliant championships. Matua was ranked eighth heading into the weekend.
• There’s also a new No. 2 in Lachlan Galvin of Westfields Sports High School in Sydney.
• The list is littered with famous names including the sons of former NRL stars Brad Fittler, Ivan Cleary, Brett Rodwell and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs.
• Also included is the son of former Wallabies prop Bill Young and nephew of NRL star-turned boxer Solomon Haumono.
