THE NT News has named its Women’s Team of the Year and other NRL NT award winners

THE NT News named its Team of the Year for the 2020 NRL NT Women’s Premiership, on the Frank Johnson awards night.

The Women’s 2020 season was a big one with the Darwin sistaz in particular starring with an undefeated season. While the Palmerston Raiders also had an historic season making their first ever women’s grand final.

Note: The team was selected after the ten-round regular season and prior to finals.

Fullback: Josephine Wong (Nightcliff Dragons)

Wing: Emily Kapernick (Nightcliff Dragons)

Centre: Latoniya Norris (Darwin Sistaz)
