BULLDOGS prop David Klemmer, who was fresh off a return from suspension already, will fight a contrary conduct charge in a bid to be available for the Bulldogs’ clash with Parramatta on Friday.
Klemmer made contact with a referee in the Dogs win over Penrith last Thursday and could face two weeks on the sideline if found guilty due to his less than stellar record.
Warriors prop Ben Matulino will challenge a grade one shoulder charge sanction for his shot on Corey Oates last Friday night. If he is found guilty, he’ll cop a four week ban.
The Raiders will also be without centre Joseph Leilua for at least two matches after pleading guilty to a dangerous throw on Shaun Kenny-Dowall in the 21-20 victory over the Roosters.
He will be forced to sit out an extra week if he fails to beat a contrary conduct charge at the judiciary on Wednesday night for slapping Dylan Napa
Napa himself was also hit with a careless high tackle charge for his shot on Jordan Rapana, but will be free to line-up against the Dragons after taking an early plea.
Cowboys forward Matt Scott will also head to the judiciary in a bid to clear his name over a grade one dangerous contact charge. Scott will play against Roosters regardless of the outcome.
Eels backrower Manu Ma’u has taken an early plea for a dangerous contact charge so will miss Friday’s clash against the Bulldogs.
Brisbane centre James Roberts was also cited for making contact with a match official and has taken an early guilty plea, meaning he’ll play against the Panthers.
Jacob Lillyman will be free to play for the Warriors after being charged for grade one careless high tackle on Jordan Kahu.
Melbourne flyer Marika Koroibete was hit with a dangerous throw charge but a guilty early plea means he will face the Warriors.
