Sangster and Peter @sydneyeditor Brown were conducting The Most Mediocre SuperCoach program from the idyllic environment of The Bavarian at the Entertainment Quarter and consumed with envy as I watched Tom Sangster downing a crisp Bavarian beverage during work hours I hatched a plan.

For those not in the know the schnitzels at the The Bavarian are outstanding, the perfect accompaniment to their beers. I wanted one.

As is his wont, Browny was rambling away on the SuperCoach show talking about everything other than SuperCoach when Sangster happened to mention that he had never seen a Star Wars movie.

Somehow Browny managed to conflate my now, almost, trending hashtag with Sangster’s Star Wars naivety and a bet was made — just quietly, Browny loves a bet.

Granted one month to study up on Star Wars trivia Sangster will then be presented with 20 questions about the movie series. Should Tom fail to answer 15 questions correctly he has to buy me a schnitty.

And it’s no ordinary schnitty that Tommy will be paying for, I’m signing up to, and Tom’s paying for, the $100 Schnitzelmeister challenge.

It’s a 1 kilogram slab of the finest Wiener schnitzel and four sides — #maythefoursidesbewithme.

If I finish this behemoth meal within the hour I get a T-shirt; I go into the hall of fame and Tommy gets his money back.

I want the glory and I want the T-shirt but I don’t want Tommy to get his money back.

It’s a conundrum.
