THE purr of a Ferrari California T is “something special” — you could almost say it was purr-fect … as in Perfect 8.
This week’s Perfect 8 jackpot is a staggering $300,000. There’s absolutely no better way to experience what $300,000 feels like than inside the cockpit of a white Ferrari.
Lucky SuperCoach NRL punter Andrew Raptis took a 2015 Ferrari California T valued at $318,880 for a spin this week — courtesy of luxury Woolloomooloo car dealership Scuderia Graziani — to weigh up his options if he managed to win the big bucks.
“I’ve never been in Ferrari or anything like that before,” a rapt Andrew said.
“So to be able to just have a look at it close up and hear the engine start and see that Ferrari roar was something special.”
Die-hard dragons fan Andrew was taken for a spin around Sydney by Scuderia Graziani’s Head of Business Gianpaolo Graziani ahead of tonight’s Round 16 opener between St George and Parramatta.
“I got to see first-hand the power and sound; it was pretty cool,” Andrew added.
$300,000 is the richest prize in SuperCoach NRL history. It’s life changing money and certainly worth California dreamin’ about.
To win the jackpot, you must select the top SuperCoach NRL pointscorer in all eight matches this weekend and Andrew was happy to drop a few tips for who he would select this weekend.
“Could probably say that Hunt will win it, he’s been in good form,” he said.
“For Parra who are struggling defensively, a playmaker like (Gareth) Widdop would be a good person to put in for your perfect eight.”
Don’t miss tonight’s SuperCoach NRL Live Countdown Show, at 6.30pm, filmed for the first time in front of a live studio audience at our major sponsor’s hipages.
For those wanting a little more detail on this Ferrari, it’s a two-door convertible, eight cylinder, 3.9L, sports automatic dual clutch with rear wheel drive.
Special thanks to — Scuderia Graziani — for the test drive. It’s located at 90-94 Crown St, Woolloomooloo. Give them a buzz on 1300 080 388 to organise your own test drive (once you’ve won Perfect 8!)
