TITANS V ROOSTERS

Injuries/reports:

David Mead picked up a leg injury while scoring a late try and didn’t return.

Ryan James went off for a late concussion test and there was not enough time for him to return.

Nene Macdonald (calf) was ruled out pre-game due to an injury sustained during the rep round.

Talking points:

Latrell Mitchell (36) scored a freakish solo try but again frustrated SuperCoaches with lack of involvement. Mitchell made just eight runs for the night and lost 10 points in errors and penalties conceded.

Is Jackson Hastings (38) a keeper for the byes or just a cash cow? He had a quiet game but will still see a $20,000 rise on the strength of his huge match against the Knights last game, taking his price almost to the $350,000 mark. Do you sell for a proven keeper before the round 12 bye or bank on Hastings’ great schedule from round 13 onwards?

Ryan Matterson (10) was the most-purchased cheapie of the week but barely got any game time. Even so, he still notched almost $40,000 in price rises due to his great performances in his first two matches.

Early season cheapie Nathan Davis (32) was switched to right centre following the pre-game withdrawal of Macdonald. He had a quiet game but still edged his total price rises over the $50,000 mark.

Highlights:

Agnatius Paasi (81) notched a try and two linebreaks in a great attacking display.

Chris McQueen (69) notched a try and linebreak in one of his best ever displays for the Titans.

Lowlights:

Sio Siua Taukieaho (34) struggled for minutes on his return and will see a huge price drop due to injury-affected rounds. He could dip to a bargain price for round 13, which is when the Roosters become the most valuable team in the comp due their favourable schedule.

Jake Friend (58) produced a massive 62 tackles but couldn’t notch any attacking stats.

TIGERS V BULLDOGS

Injuries/reports:

Fill-in fullback Justin Hunt was put on report for a clothesline tackle on Moses Mbye.

Josh Aloiai failed a concussion test and didn’t return

Sauaso Sue (rib) was injured in the warm-up and was a late omission.

Tim Simona copped a head knock but passed the concussion test and returned.

Talking points:

Bye coverage option Bulldogs forward Aiden Tolman earned 46 points from 53 minutes of play.

Tigers forward Aaron Woods was solid in a losing side. In his first game back from injury he posted 77 points which included a try assist.

Highlights:

Fill-in fullback Sam Perrett notched up a huge 122 points. Perrett scored a try, assisted in two others, made six tackle busts and one linebreak.

Bulldogs skipper James Graham continued his run of consistent scores and he registered 68 points, 33 of which came from tackles.

Lowlights:

Cheapie Josh Aloiai was promoted to the starting side only to finish with a low injury-affected score of 5. He suffered a head knock and didn’t return.

Popular fullback/five-eighth Jordan Rankin only managed 13 points from 80 minutes.

Final Teams:

Tigers: 1. Justin Hunt 2. David Nofoaluma 3. Tim Simona 4. Kevin Naiqama 5. Jordan Rankin 6. Mitchell Moses 7. Luke Brooks 17. Ava Seumanufagai 9. Robbie Farah 10. Tim Grant 11. Chris Lawrence 14. Josh Aloiai 18. Elijah Taylor Interchange: 8. Aaron Woods (capt.) 13. Sauaso Sue 15. Dene Halatau 16. Kyle Lovett

Sauaso Sue suffered a rib cartilage injury in the warm-up and is replaced by Curtis Sironen who had initially dropped to 18th man when Josh Aloiai was promoted to the starting side. Justin Hunt will line-up at fullback as James Tedesco’s replacement. New signing Elijah Taylor will make his club debut and will start from lock. Ava Seumanufagai has been promoted to the starting side, with Aaron Woods moving to bench.

Bulldogs: 1. Sam Perrett 2. Curits Rona 3. Josh Morris 4. Kerrod Holland 5. Tyrone Phillips 6. Josh Reynolds 7. Moses Mbye 8. Aiden Tolman 9. Michael Lichaa 10. James Graham (capt.) 11. Josh Jackson 12. Greg Eastwood 16. David Klemmer Interchange: 13. Sam Kasiano 15. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 17. Tim Browne 20. Craig Garvey

Sam Kasiano moves to bench with David Klemmer to start at lock.

KNIGHTS V SHARKS

Injuries/Reports:

Winger Nathan Ross injured his hamstring in the warm-up and was a late omission. He was replaced by Cory Denniss.

Newcastle’s Jacob Saifiti suffered a wrist injury and didn’t return.

Talking points:

Cronulla ran riot against the Knights and as you’d expect there were plenty of big scores across the board. Supercoaches who own the likes of Andrew Fifita (77 points), Luke Lewis (117 points), and Wade Graham (77 points) would be smiling.

Ben Barba’s score (80 points) and current form poses a dilemma for his owners considering he has an unfavourable bye schedule.

Jacob Saifiti who started the game in the backrow only managed 5 points after he didn’t see out the 80 minutes due to a wrist injury.

Cheapie Cory Denniss came into the side to replace Nathan Ross on the wing. He could see some more game time depending the extent of Ross’ injury.

Highlights:

Sharks flyer Valentine Holmes (128 points) showed his freakish abilities as he crossed for four tries and made three linebreaks.

James Maloney finished with 105 points, his score inflated thanks to 36 points from goal kicking alone. He also had two try assists and two linebreaks.

Sosaia Feki (117 points) also cracked the hundred with three tries, six tackle busts and three linebreaks.

Lowlights:

Newcastle were disappointing across the board and were completely outclassed by the shire club. Tariq Sims finished the game with 49 points (the highest for his side), with the bulk of his score coming from tackles.

Final Teams:

Knights: 1. Dane Gagai, 21. Cory Denniss, 3. Sione Mata’utia, 4. Pat Mata’utia, 5. Akuila Uate, 6. Brock Lamb, 19. Jack Cogger, 16. Jack Stockwell, 9. Danny Levi, 10. Daniel Saifiti, 11. Tariq Sims (c), 12. Jacob Saifiti, 13. Jeremy Smith (c). Interchange: 14. Tyler Randell, 15. Korbin Sims, 17. Mickey Paea, 20. David Bhana.

Jack Cogger becomes the 11th player to debut for the Knights in 2016. He replaced Trent Hodkinson in the halves, who is out with a knee injury. Winger Nathan Ross injured his hamstring in the warm-up and is replaced by Cory Denniss. Sam Mataora has also been forced out with injury and Jack Stockwell moved from the bench to starting prop. David Bhana comes on to tbe bench to replace Stockwell.

Sharks: 1 Ben Barba 2 Sosaia Feki 3 Jack Bird 4 Gerard Beale 5 Valentine Holmes 6 James Maloney 7 Chad Townsend 8 Andrew Fifita 9 Michael Ennis 16 Matt Prior 11 Luke Lewis 12 Wade Graham 13 Paul Gallen Interchange 10 Sam Tagataese 14 Ricky Leutele 15 Chris Heighington 17 Joseph Paulo

SEA EAGLES V BRONCOS

Injuries/reports:

Manly forward Martin Taupau was placed on report midway through the second half for a dangerous tackle on Matt Gillett.

Nate Myles copped an eye injury late in the second half but continued to play.

Talking points

* An undermanned Sea Eagles were expected to be lambs to the Suncorp slaughter in their “home match” in Brisbane but the Broncos failed to really sink the boot in.

* Popular Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic (39) returned from injury earlier than expected but didn’t set the SuperCoach scoreboard alight.

* In a move SuperCoaches are hoping isn’t a sign of things to come this season, Broncos lock and SuperCoach stalwart Corey Parker (38) lost the kicking duties to Jordan Kahu.

Highlights:

* After being stopped effectively by the Sharks in Round 9 the Broncos halves combination of Anthony Milford (117) and Ben Hunt (64) were back in familiar territory against the Sea Eagles. The dynamite Milford was unstoppable, notching two tries, 14 points in tackle busts and 30 points from line breaks. He has a chance of overhauling his monster BE of 138 after the recounts.

* Darius Boyd (79) has struck a rich vein of form in time for Origin and rewarded his 5500 SuperCoach owners with another strong performance, including a try, a try assist and 6 points from tackle busts. The fullback is assured of an Origin start though so will miss the all-important Round 12.

Lowlight:

* Perenial SuperCoach favourite Corey Parker (38) was uncharacteristically quiet despite playing 57 minutes. Losing the kicking duties to Jordan Kahu didn’t help.

* It wasn’t a good night for locks it seems, with Manly’s Jake Trbojevic (45) also failing to reach his lofty standards of this season.

Final teams:

Sea Eagles: 20. Tom Trbojevic 2. Matthew Wright 3. Jamie Lyon 11. Lewis Brown 5. Brayden Wiliame 6. Dylan Walker 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 17. Siosaia Vave 9. Matt Parcell 10. Nate Myles 14. Blake Leary 12. Martin Taupau 13. Jake Trbojevic Interchange: 8. Darcy Lussick 15. Addin Fonua-Blake 16. Brenton Lawrence 18. Tom Symonds

As expected, Steve Matai and Brett Stewart are out of the side named on Tuesday. Tom Trbojevic returns from injury earlier than expected at fullback with Lewis Brown shifting to the centre. Blake Leary and Siosaia Vave will start with Darcy Lussick dropping to the bench. Tom Symonds joins the bench, with Pita Godinet dropping out.

Broncos: 1. Darius Boyd 2. Corey Oates 3. Jack Reed 4. James Roberts 5. Jordan Kahu 6. Anthony Milford 7. Ben Hunt 8. Josh McGuire 9. Travis Waddell 10. Jarrod Wallace 11. Sam Thaiday 12. Matt Gillett 13. Corey Parker. Interchange: 14. Herman Essese 15. Jai Arrow 16. Jo Ofanhengaue 17. Kodi Nikorima

Broncos are 1-17

STORM V COWBOYS

Injuries/reports:

Cowboys prop Matt Scott injured his ankle early in the match but battled on.

Melbourne centre Ben Hampton injured his calf close to halftime and didn’t return.

Cowboys hooker Rory Kostjasyn left the field with a neck injury in the first half and didn’t return.

Talking points:

* SuperCoaches breathed a sigh of relief when CTW must-have Tohu Harris (84) played in the forwards thanks to the return of Marika Koroibete to the wing and Cheyse Blair to centre. His haul included a try, 23 tackles and eight points from tackle busts.

* Melbourne proved they will be a force to be reckoned with this season, strangling North Queensland out of the contest with their hard-hitting defence, limiting the effectiveness (and SuperCoach) scores of the Cowboys forward.

Highlights:

* Cameron Smith (94) proved yet again his infinite worth to SuperCoaches. His three-round average is now around the ton mark after another herculean effort on both sides of the ball. He made 54 tackle, a try assist, 12 points from goals and even made a field goal.

* Cowboys half Michael Morgan (84) again showed he is one of the best PODs in the game. Owned by only 8000 SuperCoaches Morgan has put together an impressive season, including over 43 attacking points per game and he again lit up against the Storm. He scored a try, 12 points from tackle busts, 10 from line breaks and made 24 tackles. He will almost certainly play for the Maroons so if you don’t have him he probably won’t come into consideration until Round 20.

Lowlights:

* Melbourne cheapie sensation Suliasi Vunivalu’s (20) try-scoring run came to an end and so did his big SuperCoach scores. Those who played him on the field will have their heads in their hands and although he’ll still make a tidy sum this week he’s now facing the SC chopping block sooner rather than later.

* While still serviceable, Storm fullback Cameron Munster’s strong SC run came to a shuddering halt against the Cowboys. His 40-point haul was well down from his three-round average of 90.

Final teams:

Storm: 1. Cameron Munster 2. Suliasi Vunivalu 5. Cheyse Blair 4. Ben Hampton 18. Marika Koroibete 6. Blake Green 7. Cooper Cronk 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Cameron Smith 10. Tim Glasby 11. Kevin Proctor 3. Tohu Harris 13. Dale Finucane

Interchange: 14. Kenneath Bromwich 12. Felise Kaufusi 17. Nelson Asofa-Solomona

Good news for SuperCoaches, with Tohu Harris moving to the forwards with the return of Marika Koroibete to the wing. Cheyse Blair shifts to the centres, while Tim Glasby starts at prop, with Felise Kaufusi and Jordan McLean dropping to the bench. Christian Welch is out of the side named on Tuesday.

Cowboys: 1. Lachlan Coote 2. Kyle Feldt 3. Justin O’Neill 4. Kane Linnett 5. Antonio Winterstein 6. Michael Morgan 7. Johnathan Thurston 8. Matthew Scott 14. Rory Kostjasyn 10. James Tamou 11. Gavin Cooper 12. Ethan Lowe 13. Jason Taumalolo

Interchange: 9. Jake Granville 15. Patrick Kaufusi 16. Scott Bolton 17. Ben Hannant

As usual, Rory Kostjasyn starting at hooker and Jake Granville reverting to the bench.

PANTHERS V WARRIORS

Injuries/Reports:

Warrior Blake Ayshford was dazed trying to tackle Issah Yeo in the first minute of the game and left the field for a concussion test. He brushed it off pretty quickly though and scored the Warriors third try.

Warriors starting hooker Jazz Tevega came off the field midway through the second half for a concussion test and didn’t return.

Panthers hooker James Segeyaro was collected high by Issac Luke midway through the second half and didn’t return.

Talking points:

* Despite some persistent whispers, SuperCoach stalwart Simon Mannering didn’t line up for the Warriors, still recovering from the injury to his face he received against the Storm in Round 8.

* Gusty Christchurch conditions contributed to crucial errors from both sides, but the kickers were rock solid on conversions, missing the target just once.

Highlights:

* Panther Tyrone Peachey continued his rich vein of form, crossing for three tries and 104 SC points. That effort came on the back of 87 points last round. He’s only owned by 1.3% of SuperCoaches, and before Saturday’s match had a BE of 0. He’s available at 2RF and 5/8.

* Those SuperCoaches who stuck with big Panthers forward James Fisher-Harris (66) will be raking in the cash. He was elevated into Penrith’s starting side against the Warriors and was again lively, scoring a try assist and laying 28 tackles. His score will likely improve on the back of some impressive offloads. With a BE of -32 he’ll jump in price by about $50k again this week. Unfortunately, if you don’t own him the boat has probably sailed.

* Shaun Johnson (67) is ripe for consideration to slot into your halfback spot after the Round 12 bye. While he made a few costly errors for the Warriors he was again the spark that ignited the Kiwi attack. He scored a try assist to go with his 12 points from goals, 12 from forced dropouts and 10 from tackle busts. There’s little concern his attacking stats will dry up and he’ll drop to $400,000 mark this week.

* Phew. 20,000 SuperCoaches were relieved to see Josh Mansour (55) finally score above 30 points. He still didn’t make his BE but at least he won’t leak as much cash this week.

Lowlights:

* While not terrible, Bryce Cartwright (50) and Trent Merrin (49) owners won’t be over the moon with those scores.

* James Segeyaro (18) only played for 34 minutes in his second game back from a broken arm. Keep him on the watchlist though because he will drop significantly in price and was OK after coming on late in the first half. He was collected high by Issac Luke late midway through the second half and didn’t return to the field.

Final teams:

Panthers: 1. Matt Moylan 2. Josh Mansour 12. Isaah Yeo 4. Peta Hiku 5. Dallin Watene Zelezniak 6. Jamie Soward 7. Peter Wallace 8. Sam McKendry 14. Tyrone Peachey 10. Regan Campbell-Gillard 11. Bryce Cartwright 17. James Fisher-Harris 13. Trent Merrin. Interchange: 9. James Segeyaro 15. Jeremy Latimore 16. Leilani Latu 18. Suaia Matagi

Late reshuffle for the Panthers with Isaah Yeo named to replace Waqa Blake at centre and James Fisher-Harris now starting in Yeo’s forward spot. James Segeyaro moves to the bench, with Tyrone Peachey named to start at hooker. However, it’s likely Peter Wallace will start at hooker, Yeo in the second row and Bryce Cartwright at five-eighth.

Warriors: 1. Tuimoala Lolohea 2. Jonathan Wright 3. Blake Ayshford 4. Solomone Kata 5. David Fusitua 6. Thomas Leuluai 7. Shaun Johnson 8. Jacob Lillyman 9. Jazz Tevaga 10. James Gavet 11. Bodene Thompson 12. Ryan Hoffman 13. John Palavi Interchange: 14. Issac Luke 15. Ben Matulino 16. Charlie Gubb 18. Matthew Allwood

Just the one change, with Shaun Lane dropping off the bench.

EELS V RABBITOHS

Injuries/Reports:

Backrower Beau Scott went for a concussion test early in the first half but returned for the rest of the match.

Kenny Edwards copped a heavy hit to the head in a tackle by Greg Inglis in the 25th minute and didn’t return.

David Gower also left the field for a concussion test in the second half.

Parramatta’s Isaac DeGois and Jason Clark were involved in a head clash, both left the field to be treated with Clark not returning for the Bunnies.

Souths Winger Michael Oldfield didn’t see out the 80 minutes after suffering a hamstring injury.

Talking points:

* Supercoaches who had wanted to bring in Nathan Peats over the buy and Origin periods would have had their eyes on his replacement Isaac DeGois. But the hooker only managed a low 26 points from 70 minutes of play.

* Cheapie target Parramatta’s Vai Toutai finished the game with 51 points. He scored a try and made a linebreak.

Highlights:

* Once again Semi Radradra was best on field for the Eels and was involved in almost everything. Those who jumped on the semi trailer this week were duly rewarded. The winger scored a huge 107 points thanks to his three tries, three tackle busts, two offloads and two linebreaks.

* Souths lock Sam Burgess finished the game with 83 points. He made 32 tackles, one offload, made a linebeaks and earned 34 points from hit-ups over eight metres.

* Greg Inglis was solid in his shift into the halves and scored 75 points. He made five tackle busts, two line breaks, had one linebreak assist and made 19 tackles.

Lowlights:

* Jason Clark (8 points) and Kenny Edwards (6 points) registered injury-effected scores after both didn’t return to the field.

* Paul Carter owners would have been disappointed with his 35 points considering he played for 75 minutes.

Semi Radradra scored three tries against the Bunnies.
Semi Radradra scored three tries against the Bunnies.

Final teams:

Eels: 1. Michael Gordon 2. Semi Radradra 3. Michael Jennings 5. Vai Toutai 6. Clinton Gutherson 4. Brad Takairangi 7. Corey Norman 8. Junior Paulo 14. Isaac De Gois 15. Peni Terepo 11. Manu Ma’u 12. Beau Scott 13. Tepai Moeroa. Interchange: 10. Danny Wicks 16. David Gower 18. Kaysa Pritchard 20. Kenny Edwards

Isaac De Gois starts at hooker in place of the departed Nathan Peats, with Kaysa Pritchard coming on to the bench as back-up. Peni Terepo comes into the starting side at prop, while Danny Wicks moves to the bench.

Rabbitohs: 1 Alex Johnston 2 Dane Nielsen 3 Kirisome Auva’a 4 Bryson Goodwin 5 Michael Oldfield 6 Greg Inglis 7 Adam Reynolds 8 Tom Burgess 9 Cameron McInnes 10 Nathan Brown 11 Paul Carter 12 Kyle Turner 13 Sam Burgess. Interchange: 14 Luke Keary 15 Jason Clark 16 Jack Gosiewski 18. George Burgess

Injured winger Aaron Gray is replaced by Michael Oldfield in the only change to the Rabbitohs line-up. Greg Inglis starts at five-eighth as named.

DRAGONS V RAIDERS

Jordan Rapana had another big game for the Raiders.
Jordan Rapana had another big game for the Raiders.

Injuries/reports:

* Dragons centre Euan Aitken came off for a concussion test but passed and returned

* Raiders five-eighth Blake Austin was left with a bloodied nose after a shot from Joel Thompson but played on

* Raiders lock Shaun Fensom came off with a shoulder injury, but got it strapped up and returned

Talking points:

* Who turned the lights out? A power outage mean that one of the light towers at Kogarah was out for the entire game

* A crazy Jack Wighton pass after the siren at the end of the first half of golden point was intercepted by Euan Aitken who raced away to claim victory for the Dragons

Highlights:

* Jordan Rapana’s incredible run of form continued. The rampaging Raiders winger scored his ninth try of the season and also had three linebreaks, six tackle busts and an offload on his way to 90 SuperCoach points

* Back-rower Tyson Frizell scored the opening try of the night and was a strong presence for the Dragons, with 16 hit-ups, three tackle busts, a line break and 25 tackles for a return of 84 points

* Jarrod Croker became Canberra’s leading pointscorer when he ran in for the late try that sent the game to golden point. The Raiders skipper finished with a healthy 84 points

* Euan Aitken’s matchwinning heroics rounded out a solid game for the Dragons centre, who finished with 70 points

Lowlights:

* Raiders centre Joseph Leilua looked to have scored the opening try of the match, only to be denied for a tough knock-on call. He recovered to rack up 72 points thanks in no small part to five tackle busts and four offloads

* Dragons five-eighth Gareth Widdop has been talked up as a potential bye coverage purchase, but not on these numbers. He tallied just 23 points, while halves partner Benji Marshall was even quieter with nine

Final teams:

Dragons: 1. Josh Dugan 2. Kalifa Faifai Loa 3. Euan Aitken 4. Tim Lafai 5. Jason Nightingale 6. Gareth Widdop 7. Benji Marshall 8. Leeson Ah Mau 9. Mitch Rein 10. Mike Cooper 11. Tyson Frizell 12. Joel Thompson 13. Will Matthews. Interchange: 14. Russell Packer 15. Dunamis Lui 16. Siliva Havili 19. Jake Marketo.

Just the one change for the Dragons, with Jake Marketo replacing Jacob Host on the bench.

Raiders: 1. Jack Wighton 2. Edrick Lee 3. Jarrod Croker (c) 4. Joey Leilua 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Blake Austin 7. Aidan Sezer 8. Shannon Boyd 9. Josh Hodgson 10. Paul Vaughan 11. Josh Papalli 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Shaun Fensom. Interchange: 14. Kurt Baptiste 15. Luke Bateman 16. Clay Priest 17. Joe Tapine

No changes to the Raiders line-up.
