HE was the second most purchased player of the round, but SuperCoaches who bought Euan Aitken are ruing the decision after the Dragons centre produced his worst statistical game of the year.
Aitken was the flavour of the week in the gun category as SuperCoaches rushed to replace the injured Jordan Rapana and Ryan Matterson.
However, Aitken was given an early shower after 67 minutes and produced just 30 points, despite the Dragons putting a cricket score on the Sea Eagles.
Meanwhile, we continue to splash cash left, right and centre in SuperCoach NRL — presented by hipages.
Now 15 rounds into the season and we’ve already given away over $41,000 of a potential prize pool totalling almost $500,000.
This round’s weekly winner, Cassie McCabe, coach of Spuds, is $1000 richer after scoring a massive 1406.
Some brilliant POD picks were the difference in Alex Johnston (126), Ryan James (117), Blake Ferguson (99) and Cameron Munster (98).
In terms of Perfect 8, this week’s weekly winner picked up $1,000.
Madeleine O’Connor, coach of Hounds Of Justice, picked just 3/8 correct top players from each game.
The $295,000 jackpot didn’t go off and the major prize now jackpots to $300,000. The jackpot could reach a massive $340,000 if not won by the end of the year.
