NRL live round 21: SuperCoach scores and analysis from Dragons v Panthers, Dolphins v Titans, Raiders v Rabbitohs

Nathan Cleary is back.
The champion halfback was unstoppable for the Panthers on Sunday afternoon with a hat-trick guiding him to an incredible 178 SuperCoach points.
For the handful of coaches that haven’t traded him in yet, do it now before it’s too late.
It was a good day for halves with one playmaker from each winning team finishing in triple digits.
But South Sydney and Penrith suffered injury blows as James Fisher-Harris and Alex Johnston going down early in their games.
These are the biggest SuperCoach winners and losers from Sunday.
SUPERCOACH WINNERS
Nathan Cleary (178pts) – Banged out the equal 27th highest score of all time with three tries and two try assists.
Jayden Campbell (101pts) – The focal point in attack for the Titans with three try assists. Since his return from injury Campbell has been nothing short of stellar.
Jamal Fogarty (100pts) – The veteran halfback pulled the strings in an emphatic Canberra Raiders win. Any team would love to have his accurate goalkicking – six from six on Sunday night – and at $575,400 (entering round 21) he is still a value pick.
Hudson Young (94pts) – Young scored an early try to race out to a big score for a sweatless watch for his owners.
Alofiana Khan-Pereira (83pts) – Now has 39 tries in 38 games.
David Fifita (80pts) – Recovered from a quiet first half to hit around his season average.
Max Plath (71pts) – Still in 17 per cent of teams and top-scored for the Dolphins.
Tallis Duncan (84pts) – Duncan aimed up all night and got one of his biggest totals of the year as a result during an 80-minute performance.
Casey McLean (53pts) – Very solid showing as the most popular cheapie of the week.
SUPERCOACH LOSERS
James Fisher-Harris (4pts) – Only lasted a few minutes before succumbing to a groin injury.
Alex Johnston (4pts) – The popular Papua New Guinean wingers’ season is over after rupturing his achilles tendon early in the game. Terrible to see, especially with his red-hot form of late, and Souths struggled in attack without him.
Liam Henry (34pts) – Hopefully you didn’t need the popular SuperCoach prop in your 17. Just didn’t need to do his usual work as the Panthers dominated.
Brian To’o (41pts) – I talked him up as the POD of the week but he somehow avoided the attacking stats and there was no need to bust his guts with hit-ups.
Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (50pts) – It’s not a disaster but it’s not great for the fourth most purchased player of the week. No big attacking stats but plenty of work.
Daine Laurie (50pts) – Was looking good but failed a HIA in the first half.
Jacob Gagai (26pts) – Another quiet night for the Rabbitohs backline and Gagai went unnoticed for large periods.
FULL TIME: RAIDERS KEEP FINALS HOPES ALIVE
Canberra continued its run of good form with an emphatic 32-12 victory over a hapless South Sydney.
Veteran halfback Jamal Fogarty was back to his best in chilly conditions as he scored a century of SuperCoach points.
The Rabbitohs should be very concerned with that performance and it has essentially ended their finals dream.
Young backrower Tallis Duncan was a shining light for the visitors as he refused to back down despite the score.
60TH MINUTE: PRESSURE TURNS TO POINTS
After a long period of sustained pressure Tallis Duncan finally got the ball over the line for South Sydney.
And despite a few extra looks at the replay, he did in fact get it to the ground as well.
But a shocking missed conversion from Damien Cook means the Rabbitohs are still a long way behind, trailing 30-12.
44TH MINUTE: MARIOTA STROLLS OVER
It’s only minutes into the second half but that could spell the end of South Sydney.
Some feeble Rabbitohs defence allowed Ata Mariota to breeze through the line and score under the posts to give Canberra a 30-8 advantage.
Jamal Fogarty set it up with a sweet offload, and the halfback capped it off with his fifth successful conversion.
HALFTIME: RAIDERS 24-8
A Cody Walker try at the death will give Souths a sniff of a comeback although they’ve got a huge uphill battle if they want to claw back into contention after a tough first half.
Veteran winger Jordan Rapana scored his second try of the night right minutes before halftime to give Canberra a 20-point lead but the Rabbitohs weren’t finished.
Fogarty has been massive for the Raiders and he could be a dark horse option for SuperCoaches as the Green Machine charge towards finals.
33RD MINUTE: SOUTHS HIT BACK
The Rabbitohs finally crossed the chalk late in the half when Taane Milne got over for a try. With his try, Milne shot to the top of South Sydney’s SuperCoach scoring.
Damien Cook’s conversion attempt bounced off the left upright and back into the field of play to keep the score 18-4.
25TH MINUTE: RAMPAGING RAIDERS IN CONTROL
Another Raiders try through powerful centre Sebastian Kris, followed by a conversion by the reliable Jamal Fogarty, extended Canberra’s lead to 18 midway through the first half.
No matter what Souths do they don’t seem to be threatening to score any points with the ball in hand. A try before the break could be instrumental.
16TH MINUTE: ALEX JOHNSTON OUT
South Sydney’s veteran winger has been helped off the field with a serious leg injury after going down without being contacted.
That’s his night over in a massive blow for the Rabbitohs.
Damien Cook is back into the now familiar position of centre.
6TH MINUTE: RAIDERS ON THE BOARD EARLY
Take a bow Hudson Young.
The livewire backrower raced down the left sideline and found Jordan Rapana with a spectacular late offload to crack the Rabbitohs defence early.
Jamal Fogarty’s sideline conversion sailed through the posts – the Raiders will be relishing his return.
Just minutes later the Raiders were in again when Xavier Savage flew high to claim a bomb and double his team’s lead at 12-0.

Hands up if you sold Jayden Campbell this week?
Plenty did – almost 4,000 in fact – and all are no doubt regretting it.
Campbell assisted three of the Titans’ four tries as they came back from 14-nil down to score a great win over the Dolphins.

The Titans have taken control of this second half and now look set for a win at 20-14.
Klese Haas scored the latest try after a Chris Randall kick ricocheted off the posts.
60 MINS: MAKE THAT 39 TRIES IN 38 GAMES
Alofiana Khan-Pereira is over again and the Titans are now level at 14-all.
The only negative of AFK’s tries is that they’ve both come in the corner and the Titans have not been able to convert.
50 MINS: TITANS BACK IN IT AT 14-10
Alofiana Khan-Pereira has scored his 38th try in just 38 games to continue one of the most remarkable records in the NRL.
AKP strolled over untouched on the wing in somewhat controversial circumstances as the Dolphins complained Kodi Nikorima was taken out in the lead-up by David Fifita.
But the Bunker ruled Nikorima made a defensive decision to attempt a tackle on Fifita and awarded the try.

It’s been an action-packed start to the second half despite no points being scored.
The most controversial moment was a disallowed try to Jack Bostock.
The winger tried to burrow over from dummy half but knocked on as he picked up the ball.
HALF-TIME: DOLPHINS 14 LEAD TITANS 6
When was the last time you saw Jesse Bromwich as the top-scorer in a SuperCoach game?
I have no freakin idea but it was surely a loooong time ago when he was punching out tons for fun at the Storm.

20 MINS: PANGAI REPAYS BENNETT’S FAITH YET AGAIN
The Dolphins have notched two early tries to take a 22-nil lead against Queensland rivals the Titans.
Young gun Isaiya Katoa has both try assists in a dominant opening.
Tevita Pangai Jnr scored the first try in what has been a great comeback from “retirement”/boxing.
Fellow big-man Jesse Bromwich has the other try, charging over from a Katoa short ball.
Pangai pulled this cheeky gesture as he scored.
LATE MAIL: DOLPHINS, TITANS BOTH PULL BENCH SWITCHES
Wayne Bennett has switched up the Dolphins’ bench for this afternoon’s clash against Queensland rivals the Titans.
Trai Fuller has dropped to 18th man with Sean O’Sullivan coming onto the interchange.
The Titans have changed up their middle forwards with Keenan Palasia promoted to start and Erin Clark dropping to the bench.

25 MINS: FEAGAI ON REPORT AS LAURIE FORCED OFF
Penrith fullback Daine Laurie and Dragons opposite Mat Feagai have been forced off for HIAs for a clash of heads as the Panthers surge to a 22-nil lead.
Feagai was also placed on report for the incident.
He’s the second Dragon reported today for incidents that resulted in injuries to Penrith players, with both Laurie and James Fisher-Harris (more below) unlikely to return.
* UPDATE: Both Laurie and Feagai failed HIAs and won’t return.

10 MINS: JFH OFF INJURED AS DRAGON ON REPORT
Dragons forward Raymond Faitala-Mariner has been placed on report for a dangerous tackle on Penrith’s James Fisher-Harris.
JFH has limped from the field with a groin injury and is unlikely to return.
“It must be a serious injury for Fisher-Harris to come off,” said Blocker Roach in commentary.
Faitala-Mariner was penalised for a hip drop.
1 MIN: LOMAX FULLBACK SPECULATION OFF MARK
Mathew Feagai has slotted in at fullback in place of Tyrell Sloan, as named.
There was speculation Lomax would play at the back but he’s on the wing in the early exchanges.
LATE MAIL: FEAGAI REPLACES AXED SLOAN
Mathew Feagai will replace Tyrell Sloan at fullback.
The Dragons originally claimed that Sloan was in doubt but the truth emerged when coach Shane Flanagan admitted that Sloan had in fact been axed.
