NRL star rivals Greg Norman with unintentionally hilarious detail in dog photo

Broncos star Payne Haas was excited to show off his new ride on social media – but his pooch was even perkier.

Greg Norman isn’t the only one showing off on social media.

A week after a photo of the Australian golf legend showing off a large bulge in his pants while walking his dog went viral, the NRL has produced its own version.

Brisbane Broncos and NSW Origin forward Payne Haas provided some unintentional comedy his social media followers couldn’t ignore while showing off his brand new Mercedes on Instagram on Tuesday night.

Several fans spotted a hilarious detail in the foreground of the photo, which showed Haas kneeling in front of the vehicle with his pet Chow Chow.

“The dog’s happy as well,” one wrote.

“How’s the red rocket on the little fella, someone’s excited,” added another.

“Your dog needs to chill,” wrote a third.

But the pup’s pecker wasn’t the only part of the photo which caught the eye.

Haas also showed off some impressive – and heartwarming – new ink on his left leg.

The 20-year-old has recently tattooed “Chace” below his knee to honour his older brother, who passed away aged 22 in August.

It’s been a rollercoaster year for the young star who played well in a horror season for the Broncos before being part of the NSW side that lost the Origin series to Queensland.

Just last week he announced he was expecting his first child with girlfriend Leilani Mohenoa next May.

Mohenoa posted a photograph of an ultrasound on Instagram with the caption: “We lost an angel but he sent us another that same month. Baby girl due in May.”

“Can’t wait to meet our baby girl,” added Haas, on his page.
