When Melbourne star Cameron Munster weds long-time partner Bianca McMahon on New Year’s Eve, it’ll cap off a summer full of wedding celebrations for NRL stars.

It has been the summer of love in the NRL as players and their partners walk down the aisle in unprecedented numbers – and it isn’t over yet.

Melbourne Storm star Cameron Munster looks set to be next cab off the rank amid whispers that he and long-time partner Bianca McMahon are set to marry on New Year’s Eve.

At least it shouldn’t be too hard for the Storm star to remember his wedding anniversary.

Parramatta playmaker Mitchell Moses is also expected to wed his partner Bri Gardoni next month.

Munster and Moses will continue a wedding spree that has included the nuptials of Adam Elliott and Millie Boyle, Max King, Jacob Saifiti, Jack Wighton, Wade Graham, Scott Sorensen and Luke Brooks.

Munster has only just wrapped up the Pacific Championships and last week made an early return to training along with Jahrome Hughes.

An even bigger date looms for one of the game’s free spirits as Munster gets ready to tie the knot with McMahon, who is the mother of their son Jaxon Kian.

Moses and Gardoni celebrated the birth of their daughter Aspyn last year and their wedding is expected to be an All-Star affair given Moses counts the likes of Luke Brooks and James Tedesco among his closest mates.

King kicked off the wedding bells when he married Christy Young at one of the most renowned wedding venues in Sydney, Curzon Hall.

King and Young are both Christians and famously abstained from sex during their courtship. Elliott and Boyle were next up when they were married in the Hunter, marking the landmark occasion by jumping into the ocean and then celebrating at the Shoal Bay Country Club.

Former Cronulla captain Wade Graham was only weeks into his retirement when he headed to Canada to marry his long-time partner Karianne Lafrance in Quebec.

Jacob Saifiti has had a hell of a summer. The Knights prop signed a new contract with Newcastle earlier this week but even that couldn’t top his marriage to partner Immogen, the couple tying the knot at the end of October.

Penrith forward Scott Sorensen then closed out the month of October when he married Elle in a ceremony in Bali that was attended by some of the biggest names in the game, among them Nathan Cleary and Aaron Woods.

Into the month of November and it was Jack Wighton’s turn as the new South Sydney centre married his long-time partner Monisha Lew-Fatt.

Jess Fox is one of the most respected athletes in world sport, her standing reflected in her place as a member of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Athletes’ Commission. Fox wants to continue in the role and her place will be in the hands of her fellow athletes as they prepare to vote at the Paris Games. We’re tipping she’ll be safe.

Jason Day. Rather than returning home to play in the Australian Open, Day opted to head to the Bahamas to play in Tiger Woods’ tournament. In an Olympic year, a little bit of love for the land of his birth would have been nice to see.
