DARWIN Brothers will be looking to sharpen their discipline at Marrara tonight when they take on Nightcliff in Round 3 of the NRL NT 2020 Quitline Men’s A-grade premiership.
The young Brothers side fought hard against an experienced Litchfield outfit last round, but ill-discipline let the side down at crucial moments in a 28-12 loss.
Coach Leon Cleal said his players will be looking to cut out those errors as they search for a first win in 2020.
“We had our opportunities in that Litchfield game but let ourselves down in discipline and inexperience,” Cleal told the NT News.
“Our focus in training has mainly been from that discipline point of view and working on minimising those mistakes and errors.”

With both sides having had a week off, the Brothers and Nightcliff players will be ready to give their all.
Dragons are so far undefeated, having beaten both Sharks and South Darwin but Brothers will be a step up in opposition and they will need another big game from their star individuals, including Tim Muhammad.
Brothers will be looking for strong performance from Thomas Clarke and Brayden Daly, as well as captain Aaron Pollard.
“Dragons have been a quality side for a couple of years now and they’ve been our rivals for a long time,” Cleal said.
“We expect them to throw everything they have at us, as we will to them.”

“We need to cut our errors and be strong defensively. If we can cover those areas then the rest of the game will fall into place.
“It will also come to a whole team effort with everyone taking ownership of their own roles, and from those individual roles it will come together.”
