Earlier this season, Masepa Papalii, the wife of Josh Papalii, made headlines when she received a court attendance notice for two counts of common assault related to an alleged altercation at a women’s rugby league game.

Scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on October 10, Masepa Papalii has also been handed a 10-year ban by the league from attending local games.

This ban came after the Canberra Region Rugby League (CRRL) determined that she had entered the field during a heated match between the West Belconnen Warriors and the Bungendore Kangaroos in the Katrina Fanning Shield on July 14.
