Super Netball rankings: Fowler-Nembhard claims No.1 spot in revamped top 30 as internationals drop

She technically wasn’t on the list of the league’s top players at the start of the year but Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard has showed why she’s regarded as netball’s shooting GOAT with a vintage performance in season 2025.

Given it was unknown whether or when Fowler-Nembhard would rejoin West Coast Fever after a devastating miscarriage earlier this year, the Jamaican great was not included in Code Sports’ list of Super Netball’s top 30 players.

But as we noted at the time: “Fowler-Nembhard remains a top five talent every day of the week and could well find herself in that echelon if and when she returns.”

After missing the opening two rounds of the season, Fowler-Nembhard returned and wound back the clock to find some of the best form of an already stellar career, to shoot to the top of the revised rankings at the end of the regular season.

She was one of seven players not originally in the top 30 to push their way into the elite level, with several young guns making their presence felt.

Others have simply dropped out of the top 30, including three internationals, due to the competitive nature of the world’s best netball league.
