A strong group of netballers from both ends of the NT will represent the Territory in the Australian Netball Championships. Find out how to watch them live.
The team has a strong mix of Alice Springs and Darwin players, promoting the strength in the sport from across the Territory.
The Australian Netball Championships will take place from August 25-28, with every match to be livestreamed on KommunityTV.
The Alice Springs contingent is just as formidable with the likes of Molly Southam, Carly Wilson and Brooke Wilson backing up their outing from 2023.
Aaliyah Bailey and Chelsea Coleman are among the Darwin players making a return to representative duty.
Emily Nesbitt of Queensland’s ACU has also been named in the Territory Storm outfit.
Meanwhile, former AFLW player and NTFL star Jasmyn Hewett returns to captain the side, with new co-captain Courtney Summers in to help lead the group.
Netball NT executive officer Penny Shearer said the competition starting on Sunday was a great opportunity to showcase the talent in the Territory.
“Netball NT is once again proud to showcase our athletes at the Australian National Championships,” she said.
“Our Territory Storm team sees the return of six of our athletes from last year’s team supported by six new players.
“Following our successful training camp in Sydney last month, where the team were able to match up against the GIANTS Academy team and the Canberra Darters the players are keen to rise to the challenge in this new format, which includes the Black Swans.”
The Storm will first face off against the First Nations Black Swans from 11am Canberra time on Sunday.
Later matches will come against home side the Capital Darters and the NSW Waratahs before the finals take place on Wednesday.
