Justice Bosio continued her stellar start on the pro tour as she kept pace at the 2024 Australian Open.
Born in Alice Springs but moving to Darwin as a toddler, the now 20-year-old golfer was first introduced to the sport by her father Luke at a young age.
Infatuated with the sport ever since, Bosio’s journey began playing with plastic clubs on Sundays, following her dad around the course.
The Territory-born talent made her pro debut in October of this year and has been impressing everywhere she plays.
Now residing in Caboolture, Queensland, the golfer said the move to the pros hadn’t sunk in just yet.
“It feels different just because of the prize money aspect of everything, but I don’t know, I think I was definitely ready and I was really excited to turn professional, so just trying to make the most of it at the moment,” she told WPGA.
Placing 11th in the 2022 Aus. Open as an amateur, Bosio had been towards the top of the leaderboard, ending Round 2 tied second at -8.
She fell out of the top three in Round 3 after finishing the day fourth at -8 and continued to tumble down the order with a poor Round 4 showing, placing a tied 11th at -1.
Irrespective of the result Bosio is determined to take her game to new heights with sights firmly set on the LPGA Tour.
“The LPGA Tour is definitely where I feel like everyone wants to end up and definitely where I want to end up,” she told Golf Australia.
“There’s a few stages before you get there but, hopefully, we get there in the end.”
