Round 1 of the Two-Day A-grade season is in the books with plenty of storylines and impressive individual results across the board.

The Eagles showed their mettle in a tight victory over the Tah’s, steered by captain Jacob Dickman (107 n/o) and Kristopher Denby.

PINT caused an upset out at Tracy Village, knocking off the One-Day champions after an almighty record equalling knock by Connor Poulton and Chander Ravi put the underdogs in the hot seat early.

Elsewhere, last year’s leading wicket taker and Palmerston captain Hamish Martin had another superb day in the field, taking a five’fa, setting up his side for victory on PCC’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
