THE 2019-20 NTFL season has produced several extraordinary feats, goals from the boundary line, long runs and big marks.
NT News football writer Grey Morris has done the hard yards to pick his best 25 players from the season that just ended, a task as tough as running down Tiwi star Ross Tungatalum or kicking longer than Nightcliff midfielder Brodie Filo.

NO. 15 - KYLE EMERY (PALMERSTON):
A standout player in a rebuilding season for the Palmerston Magpies. Has a booming kick and can take a mark in a contested situation or on the lead.
NO. 14 - DANIEL STAFFORD (BUFFALOES):
The big marking Stafford has provided a focal point for his midfield players all season with his 39 goals. His best work is in a pack situation when he can use his height and strength to out manoeuvre opponents.
NO.13 - DION MUNKARA (TIWI BOMBERS):
The wizard of Bathurst Island who can put a spell on his opponents with brilliant runs out of the centre and extraordinary foot skills.
NO. 12 - ED BARLOW (STHN DISTRICTS):
The Crocodiles’ “Mr Fixit’’ with his ability to play down back, across the middle and up forward where he can find space and create havoc among rival back lines.
NO. 11 - JACOB LONG (ST MARY’S):
A creative defender who nudged his cousin Jake and key backman Tom Davies out of a spot in the top 25. Can play on the inside and the outside which adds to his versatility.
