AN old rivalry was renewed when the NTFL Buffaloes and Glenelg Tigers met on the representative arena for the first time in 36 years on a big weekend of rep footy in Darwin.

Territory coach Chris Baksh and Glenelg rival Brett Hand took two quality sides into Saturday’s representative game at TIO Stadium.

Glenelg boasted 2019 Magarey medallist Luke Partington, a former West Coast Eagle, in its ranks, while former Richmond goalkicker Liam McBean and North Melbourne pair Lachie Hosie and Sam Burdin also lined up against the Bufflaoes.

Meanwhile, first and second-placed NTFL sides Nightcliff (six players) and Wanderers (six) dominated selection for the NTFL Buffaloes.
