WANDERERS full-back Mitchell Taylor has re-joined NT Thunder for 2014.
Taylor, 23, played 16 games for the club between 2009-10 and has since spent the last two dry seasons playing for the Ouyen United Demons in Victoria's Mallee Football League.
He is cuurently joint leader of the 2013-14 NT News-Darwin Sportingbet NTFL Player of the Year Award.
Taylor said he feels the time is right to again play at the highest level available in the NT against the four AFL club reserves teams.
“I’m very excited at playing with NT Thunder again and playing with my mates," he said.
"There has been a lot of interest from the local guys and to play with someone like Sebastian Guilhaus will be good.”
Coach Xavier Clarke said Taylor is a vital addition to Thunder's backline.
"Mitch has a great ability to beat his man one on one and also peel off to help out his team mates. He has good skills and shows some great qualities of been a good leader," he said.
