All four matches will be played on Saturday at TIO Stadium with each promising to exciting and intense encounters.

Up first is a fierce match-up between the women’s reigning premiers PINT and the historically strong Waratah in the women’s semi-final from 12.15pm.

Waratah pulled off a massive 15.7 (97) to 2.1 (13) win in their elimination final and are gunning to make it two big victories in a row.

But PINT are well in this contest narrowly losing an extra time thriller against the Buffettes and have the hard-nosed players able to trouble any side.

Then from 2.15pm the table topping Nightcliff Tigers will play their first game of the finals against the highly skilled Darwin Buffettes.

Tigers have been the premier side this year racking up important wins but the finals are a whole new ball game and to stay on top Nightcliff know they will need to lift their game once again.

The Buffettes are the only side to get the better of their semi-final opponents and will be using that knowledge alongside their elite mix of talent to their advantage.

The men’s finals take off at 4.15pm with a St Mary’s side out for blood up against a Wanderers unit needing to prove they belong.

The Saints slipped up in the qualifying final against Waratah but are a side full of talent and know how to get it done the hard way more than most.

But Wanderers are also out to prove themselves with their eyes still on the prize and have a backline capable of troubling any group of forwards.

And finally from 6.45pm is the big semi-final between the three-time reigning premiers Nightcliff Tigers and a Waratah side that last week proved they can get the better of anyone.

Nightcliff are no strangers to finals and will have relished the week off watching their rivals exchange blows.

And Waratah now have to confidence to know they can get the better of any side with their elite midfield full of attacking threats.
