Could these players be the next generation of the Boomers?

After watching almost every game at the Basketball Australia Under-20 National Championships from the grandstands, News Corp’s Mick Randall has pulled together his definitive list of the top 20 boys at the tournament.

It is an update to the list of Top 20 athletes Randall produced before the tournament tipped off in Geelong last week, and there have been some serious movers and shakers.

There are both fresh and familiar faces in the Top 20, and unsurprisingly the boys from the West, who won their first title in 22 years, flood the top 10.

There are sharp shooters, penetrating playmakers and damaging defenders all through the top 20, with one all-rounder taking out the top spot.

While we have included each players average stats for the tournament with their entry, the selection was not just numbers based. It also took into account their energy, involvement and impact they had on each game they played.
