THE NTFL preliminary finals are upon us promising plenty of excitement and we will be there to stream all the men’s and women’s action LIVE and EXCLUSIVE.

Both games will be played at TIO Stadium on Saturday and are sure to be belters as each team eyes the last position in their respective grand final.

First up is the women’s matchup between the league’s table toppers Nightcliff Tigers and a finals primed Waratah from 4.30pm.

Nightcliff were leading the table all season but came unstuck when beaten by the Darwin Buffettes in the semifinal.

But this is a resilient side with plenty of high quality performers including Sophie Hatzismalis and Eliza Morrison.

They’re up against a Waratah side who seem to have primed themselves at just the right time to make an impact in finals.

Big wins over both St Mary’s and PINT in the opening weeks of finals have the Tahs brimming with confidence heading into the prelim.

Then from 6.30pm is what promises to be a high quality game between two heavyweights of the men’s game in St Mary’s and Nightcliff Tigers.

St Mary’s kept their finals hopes alive with a massive win over Wanderers last week but still have their backs against the wall.

There’s plenty of talent in this Saints side with their pacey forwards and dynamic midfield but this match will come down to who wants it more.

Nightcliff are the three-time reigning premiers and will not want their chances of a rare four peat demolished before the grand final.

The Tigers have triumphed against the Green Machine in the past two grand finals but this is a whole new game and anything can happen.
