TRAINER Lisa Lefoe dominated racing at Pioneer Park on Saturday, saddling up four winners on the eight-race card.
Ptolemy was sent out the favourite but it was General Orders for Lefoe and Paul Denton scoring in the first.
The four-year-old General Nediym gelding was down sharply in grade and won convincingly by 3.5 lengths.
Volatile Rose did a good job to run second with Ptolemy beaten by four lengths.
The two year old race saw the promising Purrfect Paragon notch up win number three defeating Ringwood Ranger by 1.5 lengths with a massive gap to Desert Elsie in third.
Ringwood Ranger jumped well and led them up to the turn but Purrfect Paragon was simply too good.
Race three looked a very open race on paper but Perfect Pause was sent out the favourite based on its form line around star three year old Danger Mouse.
The favourite did not disappoint scoring by 0.1 lengths to Blue Shore who is racing very well at the moment.
Blue Shore skipped away at the top of the straight but Perfect Pause knuckled down to score. Sahara Sunrise was third.
The win made it three from three for Lefoe and gave Kim Gladwin a race-to-race double.
Ornithologist was sent out a short-priced favourite at $1.70 in race four but finished third beaten 3.7 lengths by Concini.
Ornithologist had to use up some early petrol tickets to cross the field and set a cracking tempo down the side which proved too much.
Concini sat off the speed with Roman Eye and when the leaders put up the white flag on the turn Concini quickly pounced to score comfortably by 3.5 lengths. Roman Eye ran second.
The field of 10 in race five was sent out over the 1900m with seven of the runners having no form beyond the mile.
Waggabilla loved the extra ground and came with a well-timed run.
Jockey Barry Huppatz peeled off them down the side and set after the leader Extraceed who pinched a break on the turn but was quickly overhauled with 150m left.
Solitary Bird for Greg Connor and ridden by Kacie Konnor was too strong in race six.
The winner sat just off the speed and was strong enough to overhaul the leaders into the straight defeating Agadez by 0.8 lengths.
Agadez had no second up form but the run showed just how well the six year old gelding is going. Make Me was third.
Race seven produced an amazing finish with the first four all within a length of each other.
With 150m left to travel they were across the track with Dreaming of Nepal (the centre), Whetstone diving on the rail and Steinberg running on but it was the old nine- year-old Goondi who flashed out wide to win, giving Lefoe her fourth winner and Gladwin a treble.
Vision of One won the last for Nigel Moody and it was largely due to the gun ride of apprentice Samantha Rowley.
She took the winner to the lead and dropped anchor down the back before sprinting away at the top of the straight winning by 0.8 lengths to Rapid Canny.
Rapid Canny was second with Private Downs producing an eye-catching run for third beaten 1.3 lengths.
