RACE 1
Gaeilge led and was beaten a half-length by stablemate Comedy in the Kirkham Plate at Randwick on debut. Was wide without cover when sixth to North England in the Golden Gift second-up. Resuming off a handy trial and hard to beat. Mednyi kicked up after a slow start to lead the Debutant Stakes before finishing sixth to Miss Celine. Returns from a spell and can make her presence felt. You’re The Choice is a first starter by Farnan. Hit the line well when second in her Rosehill trial on Feb 3.
Bet: Gaeilge to win
RACE 2
She Swings copped a big bump at the start and went back to last before charging home to finish a three-quarter length second to La Roja on debut at Warwick Farm over 1100m. The step up to 1200m is ideal. Angels Cry is a first starter by Pierata and is the first foal of Group 3 winner Miss Exfactor. Raced on speed and boxed on to place at her last two trials at Warwick Farm. Little Girl is a debutant by Invader from the family of Golden Slipper winner Ha Ha. Nice third to Written Gold in her latest trial.
Bet: She Wings to win
RACE 3
Gyra went out at big odds on debut on the Beaumont on Boxing Day when runner-up behind stablemate Atomic Clock who went on to win again next start. Briefly held up near the 400m then taken in when sixth to Eccedere on the Kensington. Gets a nice run from a good gate. Hampden makes his Australian debut off a couple of nice trials, the latest a second to Rosehill on Feb 3. Placed in both first-up runs in England, one over the mile. Tel Aviv was a handy fourth behind Delrico at Canterbury last start. Will keep improving.
Bet: Gyra to win
Kia Ora-bred STAGNUM made a bold showing on debut to come from last to win the 1st on the card at Canterbury Park. The @HawkesRacing trained son of Exceedance & All Too Free was sold through our Inglis Weanling draft in 2022.

RACE 4
Piccaderro has been good in each run this preparation with third placings at Canterbury and the Sunshine Coast in the Magic Mullions Maiden before a fourth to Blue Tongue over 1500m here last start after being severely checked late. He will appreciate the 1880m. Golden Loom set midfield and kept making ground in the straight when third to Delrico over 1550m at Canterbury second-up. Extra trip suits. Autumn Aroha is knocking on the door. Wide gate is the query.
Bet: Piccaderro to win
RACE 5
Prime Impact will appreciate a drop back in grade and weight after two runs at Canterbury when third to Pretty Powerful first-up followed by a sixth to Smart Legend. Rothrock boxed on for third over 1500m at Port Macquarie before stepping up to this track and distance when less than a length off Zizette in third on Jan 25. Shuri got back to last after a slow start but was doing her best through the line when eighth to Canny Queen over 1400m here first-up.
Bet: Prime Impact to win
RACE 6
Devil Rider found the 1250m much too short at Canterbury first-up. Stepped up to 1500m and raced outside the leader when a solid length winner from Search Warrant who has win since. Will go close again. Our Uptown Girl went back to last from the outside barrier and worked to the line nicely for third behind Tartana when resuming from a length break at Warwick Farm. Expect her to be closing late again. Blue Tongue broke this maiden here last start and won’t be far away again.
Bet: Devil Rider to win

RACE 7
Curl Curl raced back and wide before making steady ground for fourth to Shall Be here first-up when the rail was out 10m. Good effort when a three-quarter length third to the same horse last start. Has two wins and four placings from seven run at the track and distance. Silencio Porfavor was an easing favourite but got the job done on debut at Kembla and followed with a win at Scone. Resuming here off a nice fourth to Written Scandal in his Randwick heat. Akaka Falls is consistent and won’t be far away.
Bet: Curl Curl each-way
RACE 8
Broadway Bouncer will appreciate a drop back in grade after two midfield runs in Rosehill Midways. Nice win at Port Macquarie prior to that. Rolling magic resumes off two handy trials. Was a good third to Kingston Charm in the Four Pillars at his last run after winning his previous three starts. French Marine and Welcometobarbados are not without a chance.
Bet: Broadway Bouncer to win
