We might be in isolation, but GWS still has a chip on its shoulder.

“The official AFL website this week:

– Jezza to Geelong

– Where did Cogs nearly go?

– A team of ex-GIANTS

– Williams as “gettable”

– Perryman a “fascinating case”

And it’s only Thursday lunchtime.”

The Giants also took umbrage at the AFL’s shutdown podcast on the club.

“Good to see you’re hitting your quota of daily GIANTS contract stories …

Seven names in a nine minute podcast is a good effort!”

The club might have a point – if AFL.com.au should be an independent footy news site, but should it be looking after each club’s interests?
