Spurs take on Brighton in what should be one of the most exciting games of the season, with two top six offence going head to head and teams who play very high lines.

Marcus Bazzano states how pumped he is for this game on the Football Today Podcast, “if you are a neutral or not into football as much as others this could be the game for you with both sides struggling defensively we should see a big score line and always exciting to watch Angeball in action.”

Tottenham are in great form, winning their last five home games and if some other results go there way, they could jump right back into the top four.

Brighton did win this matchup last time 4-2, but since then, they have slid down to eighth and have failed to win their last six away games.

With the career best form of Richarlison up front for Spurs scoring nine goals in his last eight games and the Seagulls losing 4-0 to a similar attacking style team in Luton last week, the home team could win big here.

ASTON VILLA vs MANCHESTER UNITED

This is set up for a massive table defining clash, with Manchester United unbeaten in their last five matches and Aston Villa two spots above them looking to hold onto fourth spot.

Although Villa has been amazing at home - only losing three games there in the past year - Football Today’s Liam ‘Stats Guy’ McAllion isn’t convinced that Villa Park is a fortress anymore.

“The Villains are starting to dip a little bit in form, only winning one of their past four home games, especially with that huge loss to Chelsea midweek, they look worried and inexperienced in that top four at the moment.”

The Red Devils have really turned their season around in recent weeks, with Rasmus Hojlund building confidence to score in the last four league games and after winning their last three away matches, they won’t fear the rowdy Villa Park this weekend.

ICONIC RETURN INTO MATILDAS SQUAD

Michelle Heyman hasn’t been picked in the Australian women’s squad since 2019. After playing for multiple teams and taking time away from football, she’s back hitting her prime form and has pushed her way back into the Matildas squad.

Marcus Bazzano talks about her incredible return on the Football Today Podcast, pointing out that “in 2019 she retired from International football... but is back on the scene after dominating with 15 goal contributions in 14 games for Canberra United this season and is doing all of this at the age of 35.”

Heyman is the all-time leading goalscorer in the Women’s A-League, taking over superstar Sam Kerr and is ready to score some goals in the green and gold, with the Matildas having multiple attackers injured.
