Although they have won their last two matches convincingly, the confidence for Newcastle fans isn’t too high at the moment as they have failed to win at home in over two months and are losing their strong defensive identity.

Liam ‘Stats Guy’ McAllion labels on the Football Today Podcast that “this is a real danger game for the Magpies, they have conceded 10 goals in their last four league games and can’t afford to lose to bottom half teams like this.”

Bournemouth have had a rollercoaster of a season, failing to win their last five matches, but have been solid in attack through a career best 13 goals from Dominic Solanke.

The Cherries have actually won the last two meetings between the two, but haven’t gotten a point at St James’ Park in over seven years. The Magpies will be fired up to turn their fortunes at home around and can use Kieran Trippier out of defence to propel towards a big score line.

MANCHESTER CITY vs CHELSEA

Arguably the game of the season earlier in the campaign, struggling Chelsea put up a strong fight against City to produce a 4-4 draw, but the Sky Blue are now hunting down top spot and have so many star players back in their lineup.

City have won 11 straight matches across all competitions and Marcus Bazzano on the Football Today Podcast believes Chelsea should be worried.

“My big call for the week is City to put five against Chelsea... with not just De Bruyne and Haaland in form, but having Foden scoring as well they are just way too good here.”

The Blues have lost four of their last six away games and have lost their last four visits to the Etihad in convincing fashion.

LUTON TOWN vs MANCHESTER UNITED

This is a huge game, as the Hatters want to push away from the relegation zone and the Red Devils want to be in the fight for the elusive top four once again.

Luton looked to have bounced back a few weeks ago, getting points out of three straight games, but this was ruined last week with a lost to the bottom side Sheffield United.

Manchester look like their old selves again, winning their last four matches and have Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund in career best form.

Liam ‘Stats Guy’ McAllion makes his big call for the weekend on the Football Today Podcast, “Hojlund looks set for a hattrick in this one, he has six goal contributions in his last four games and Luton have conceded seven goals across the last two game.”

Confidence is sky high for United’s attackers and they did win this matchup earlier in the season.

TIP: Manchester United
